Information

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FFWCC) authorizes the sale of hunting and fishing licenses/permits. Licenses and permits are issued through the Total Licensing System and are available through FFWCC appointed agents (e.g. Florida Tax Collector Office, Bait and Tackle Shops, Department Stores, Marinas, etc.).

It is recommended the license holder have positive proof of identification with them when engaging in a licensed activity as it can be requested by law enforcement at any time; identification is required to be in the possession of any individual engaging in activities permitted by a 5-year, lifetime or no-cost license or when using an authorization number issued in conjunction with an internet or telephone sale.
