If your license plate and/or decal are stolen, contact your local law enforcement agency to report the theft. The Tax Collector's office can replace a reported stolen tag or decal at no cost. If you have lost your license plate or decal, there is a charge to replace it. For inquiries regarding replacement fees, when applicable, please contact the Tax Collector's office at (239)533-6000.

When replacing a lost/stolen license plate and/or decal, the registered owner must provide one of the following:

• Registration
• License plate number
• Driver license, identification card, passport, or military ID
• Copy of the police report (when applicable)
• Vehicle identification number (VIN)
