by Angie Filian | Sep 13, 2018

Excellence is more than an idea at the Tax Collector’s office, it is our standard of doing business. That excellence begins internally with our amazing staff. Lee County Tax Collector employees are dedicated to providing our community with quality service with each interaction.

Meet Noelle Branning, Chief Deputy Tax Collector. Noelle has been with the organization since May 2013 and she works hand in hand with Larry Hart to make the Lee County Tax Collector’s Office a reliable resource to the citizens of Lee County. Under Noelle’s leadership, the Lee County Tax Collector’s Office has launched multiple initiatives to become an organization that embodies excellence. She is currently co-leading a team that guides a workforce of over 230 people towards the rigorous assessment of the prestigious Florida Governor’s Sterling Award. Her team is doing this by setting goals and objectives, keeping the organization focused on collective excellence, and creating a strong plan to execute strategies important to Lee County Tax Collector’s continued success.

One of Noelle’s other focuses is leadership. The Lee County Tax Collector believes in the growth and development for next generation leadership. Noelle is constantly cultivating her team to find new leaders and develop them. She nurtures and encourages employees to take every opportunity to become leaders within the organization and in the community. Noelle leads by example as she serves on numerous boards within Lee County including the Lee County Bar Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida, and Florida Bar Committees.

Outside of the Lee County Tax Collector’s office, Noelle is happily married to Judge Robert Branning and has two young children who are the light of her life. Noelle began her career as an Attorney handling all aspects of criminal defense matters, eventually opening her own practice where she focused on both criminal defense and family law matters. This eventually lead her to the Tax Collector’s office where she shifted her focus to labor and employment law.

It’s leaders like Noelle that help encourage excellence within the Lee County Tax Collector’s Office and our community. We’re excited to share more profiles of our amazing staff who continue to push the organization forward to best serve the residents of Lee County.
