Have you ever wondered if there was an easy and efficient way to stay up-to-date with paying your taxes? Well, the Lee County Tax Collector has created just that! eNotify is a free service open to the public designed to increase efficiency, as well as provide you with an email reminder when taxes are ready for collection. You can enjoy easy access to view, manage and pay your taxes online. Who doesn’t want that?

Tax notices for your real estate property taxes and tangible personal property taxes are mailed on or before November 1 of each year and all tax payments are due before April 1. After this date, your taxes become delinquent and additional charges will apply. Avoid delinquency and having to pay more money, simply by signing up for eNotify.

In addition to sending you email reminders about paying your real estate and tangible property taxes, if you are a local business owner, eNotify will update you when it’s time to make a payment on your local business taxes. Local business tax account notices are mailed out by August to those accounts that have been current in the last year. By Florida law, it is the responsibility of the business owner to pay their local business tax whether a notice is received or not. This is why signing up for eNotify is essential if you are a local business owner!

Another perk of signing up with eNotify, is that you will receive quarterly updates from all things LCTC! Whether you want friendly reminders of upcoming payment deadlines or just to hear about what’s new with the Lee County Tax Collector, eNotify is a wonderful and efficient way to stay up-to-date.
