Noelle Branning earnestly believes it is a privilege to serve our community. From the moment you meet her, it is clear she values exceptional customer service, and she wants everyone in Lee County to enjoy their experience with the Lee County Tax Collector.

Noelle graduated from Florida State University in 1998 and received her law degree from St. Thomas University in Miami in 2004. Upon moving to Southwest Florida, she worked with the State Attorney’s Office of the 20th Judicial Circuit and then focused her legal career on handling criminal defense and family law matters.   

In 2013, Noelle joined the Lee County Tax Collector as General Counsel. In 2018, she was appointed Chief Deputy Tax Collector by former Lee County Tax Collector Larry Hart. In her role as Chief Deputy Tax Collector, she has focused on operational effectiveness, leadership development, and organizational culture. 

Noelle has received Leadership certifications from the Florida Tax Collectors Association and the Florida Sterling Council. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida and United Way where she is also a 2020 Pacesetter Campaign Co-Chair. 

Noelle is excited to work with Tax Collectors from around the State of Florida as the Florida Tax Collectors Association District 10 Chair.

Noelle is married and raising two children in this wonderful community. She was sworn in as your Lee County Tax Collector in January 2021, where she will continue to provide exceptional service with the heart of a servant.
