Delinquent Taxes & Tax Certificates

Apr 23, 2020

Delinquent Taxes:

Delinquent real property taxes must be paid in certified funds. We accept cash, debit card, cashier's check, money order, or credit card. Personal and business checks are not accepted.

Beginning May 1, 2020 through the completion of the 2020 Tax Certificate Sale, the option to pay by bank account will be unavailable for real property taxes.

To prevent a tax certificate from being sold, payments must be made prior to May 18, 2020 at 5:00 pm EDT.

On May 19, 2020, at 7:00 am EDT a Tax Certificate Sale will be conducted online, and tax certificates will be sold on unpaid real property taxes. Additional charges accrue once a tax certificate is sold, and may result in the property being sold at a future date.
