Miliary Service plates are also available. These plates require the applicant provide proof of eligibility to be submitted with the application for military service related license plates. There is no additional annual fee or $5 processing fee and in some cases the regular registration fee is reduced. Some restrictions may apply.

Please review the FLHSMV License Plate page for a complete listing.

Personalized Plates

Personalized plates may be issued to any motor vehicle owner or lessee except for a vehicle that requires restricted, apportioned, wrecker, or heavy trucks requiring dual license plates.

Application for personalized license plate must be submitted to the tax collector for approval or denial of license plate choice to ensure that obscene or objectionable choices are not processed. Personalized plate fees vary depending on the license plate style chosen for personalization.

Before making application for the personalized plate, check to see if your choice is available.

Marine Turtle and Manatee Decals

Each year decals are designed and created by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to help protect Florida’s endangered sea turtles and manatees. A donation of five dollars or more guarantees the decal of your choice, with current year decals available at the tax collector’s office.

Collectors interested in earlier year decals should visit the FWC Marine Turtle Decal page or the FWC Manatee Decal page for more information.
